Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011 graced several stages with Farouk Systems, at America's Beauty Show, which was held March 3 through 5, 2012 in the "Windy City" of Chicago. The crowned beauty really fired up the crowd when she joined the veteran pageant styling duo-Global Artistic Board members, Rocky Vitelli and Leonel Rodriguez-onstage for the first time since her crowning moment in Brazil in 2011. On the Runway at ABS, Vitelli and Rodriguez showcased bold, avante-garde upstyles. The looks were shown in a palette of fiery reds and luscious mocha color schemes-all created using the CHI Digital 4 Button Hairstyling Iron and CHI Ionic Color formulated without PPD.
Creative Artist Anna Cantu also worked with Lopes. Cantu helped kick off the inaugural appearance of the Texture Stage, demonstrating a crown-worthy style on the queen of beauty. Curly girls everywhere ranted and raved about Cantu's's braided upstyle of choice. It was pure elegance!
Rock & rollers Joe Anthony Pena and Rocky McCormick also kept the crowds dancing in their seats at the Farouk Stage with their speed cutting rendition of the song "Devil Went Down to Georgia" and their precision styling demonstrations. "I'm extremely proud of the way the team represented Farouk Systems at America's Beauty Show," says Lisa Marie Garcia, VP of Shows & Education. "To get the best results, you must use the best products and our artists really showcased the versatility of the Farouk brands this weekend."
