Every day hairstylists create miracles in the salon, and Matrix artistic directors Nick Stenson and Ammon Carver truly created a miracle with their contribution to the Children's Miracle Network. Kevin Jonas, special guest DJ C-Squared (otherwise known as Connor Cruise-the son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) and American Music Awards "Best New Artist" Hot Chelle Rae headlined the star-studded Give Back Hollywood "Night of Miracles" benefit, which was held in Hollywood and co-sponsored by Matrix.
Carver and Stenson manned the Beauty Lounge, where they performed touch-ups and gave expert hair care and styling advice to luminaries such as Jonas, Twilight's Boo Boo Stewart and recording artists Estelle, Joanna "JoJo" Levesque and Jasmine Villegas. In anticipation of the American Music Awards, Carver created a Red Carpet-worthy haircut on "Best New Artist Winner" Hot Chelle Rae Band Member Ian Keaggy.
Matrix invited fans to follow the star-studded event on Twitter. Every time an attendee Tweeted about the benefit, Matrix donated $250 to the Children's Miracle Network. At the end of the event, Matrix helped Give Back Hollywood generate $100,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.

"The Give Back Hollywood organization is about celebrities taking time out from their busy schedules to give back as often as they can. In the same way, stylists give back every day-to their clients, their colleagues and their communities."
