Held at the posh Moon Palace Resort, Farouk Systems put on its annual bash, which is renowned for its beauty - and fun-loving ways.
Welcomed to the fi ve-star resort with Mexico’s most revered beverages... ahem, make that beer and tequila... the brightness and levity of the fi rst day continued to escalate into the night as party-goers took to the beach to dance, eat and listen to Dutch songstress Glennis Grace, while the stars above put on a show of their own.
The newly retooled CHI magazine, relaunch of SunGlitz and Exposed 2 collection were unveiled during the nonstop event. A new direction in marketing was also announced, using stunning images of contestants from the Miss Universe Organization.
Breakout classes were held Saturday afternoon, followed by the Education and Schools Awards ceremony in the evening. Naturally, Farouk Shami, Founder and Chairman of Farouk Systems, Vice-Chairman John McCall and recently appointed President Gregg Emery, took center stage!
HOT Highlights: Teams Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and North America conjured up pure hair magic onstage; special keynote speaker, celebrity and author Mario Lopez, spoke of Farouk’s many accomplishments that continue to touch so many lives; and, on the fi nal day, a water volleyball tournament between distributing rivals Salon Centric and Beauty Systems Group.
