Recently in Miami—the unofficial party capital of the world — our illustrious magazine was the official sponsor of the first annual Beauty Bash U.N.I.T.E. (Unity Now is a Tomorrow for Everyone) event, which brought together South Florida’s beauty, fashion and arts communities for more than one worthy cause. Billed as the official charity extravaganza of the Miami Beauty Show, the Bash was held at the Mansion on South Beach in support of local, non-profitorganizations. And just who acted as emcee for this gala event? None other than Brig Van Osten, Bravo’s Shear Genius 3 winner! Also on hand to create a veritable fashion feast was renowned clothing designer Cesar Rosario, who presented 40 new designs from his fall/winter runway collection.
In addition to Hair’s How’s official sponsorship, contributors included Aveda, Joico, L’Ore´al Professionnel, Rain Cosmetics, Redken, RG Cosmetics, True Keratin, Flamingo Beauty Supply, Warren Tricomi Los Angeles, plus numerous other companies.
