1. Create a crescent-shaped section as shown.
2. Addressing the side/temporal areas, create vertical cutting sections. Holding the hair at a 90° angle, trim the ends to 5 cm in length.
3. Creating vertical partings, cut the occipital and nape areas, beginning at the center of the head and moving out to each side. Hold the hair at a slightly inverted angle so that the hair becomes shorter as you approach the nape.
4. Create light layering and remove bulk by twisting sections throughout the back and sides as shown, then very lightly close your scissors midway to just above the ends of each section.
5. Great a 10 cm-long guideline at the top of the head.
6. Addressing the top section, create a triangle section at the top occipital area. Using your established guide, create pie-shaped partings and cut the hair at a 90º angle, following the curvature of the head.
7-8. Starting at the crown area, separate a 3-to-4 cm area and secure. Comb the balance of the top section forward and establish the fringe length as shown. Texture the crown area slightly to create lightness.
9. Release the secured section, comb forward and cut a second fringe perimeter that is slightly longer than the fi rst. Texture this section if needed, omitting the perimeter.

4. Crear capas ligeras y reducir el volumen retorciendosecciones todo a lo largo de la parte trasera y lateral, talcomo se muestra, luego, cerrar las tijeras suavementehasta la mitad, justo arriba del fi nal de cada sección.
5. Cortar una larga guía de 10 cm de extensión en la parte superior de la cabeza.

9. Soltar la sección sujetada, peinar hacia adelante y cortarel perímetro de un segundo fl equillo, apenas más largo queel primero. Texturizar la sección si es necesario a excepcióndel perímetro.
