Here's an update on a classically masculine cut with a longish bang for versatility.

1. Divide the hair into sections as shown.
2. Begin the cut from the front parietal zone, beginning with the second section using the "strand by strand" method* (see below). Leave the bang.
3. Cut the lateral temple areas, separating the strands using the backs of the f ngers to create vertical partings.
4. Continue the cut to the occipital zone, separating it with vertical partings.
5. Mesh the parietal cut with the uncut bang using the "slicing"* method, blending the silhouette.

*"STRAND BY STRAND" method refers to separating sections usingparallel partings. Pull up each section at a right angle to the head, cutting hair against the outside edge of the palm.
**"SLICING" refers to the sliding cut technique, creating a weightless, contemporary cut.
