1. Divide the hair into sections as shown.
2-4. Shape the perimeter line using the point-cutting technique.
5-6. Unpin the top section and shape the perimeter line, using the slicing technique. Repin the section.
7-9. Cut the hair along the perimeter of the head by creating diagonal partings and using texture shears.
10. Unpin the top section and pull the hair toward the nape. Separate the hair into vertical partings and trim to the desired length.
11-12. Finish the cut by slice-cutting the top section to create a shattered perimeter and light, irregular layers throughout.
