Multiple Personalities

It’s no longer enough to be fun and flirty. Riding the education wave of 2012 that saw accelerated sales and a stronger commitment to its brand, Sexy Hair devoted its 5th annual conference to styling versatility—different looks and moods with a single cut—as well as the importance of catering to a diverse clientele.

Aptly named, “Experience: The Versatility of Sexy Hair,” the conference was attended by more than 800 educators, distributors and industry leaders.

Sexy Hair and attendees reveled in their successes throughout 2012, not to mention a first look at 2013 initiatives, which include new product launches—Fun Sexy Hair Sexy Highlights spray color and the repackaging and renaming of the Short Sexy Hair line to Style Sexy Hair, which will soon include Spray Clay, Working Crème and Molding Paste.

HOT highlights of the event: The unveiling of Capricious, a versatile style collection that can be classic, editorial-chic or avant-garde; Sexy Hair Palooza, an all-day, hands-on cutting class; and the traditional Red Party, which was lavishly produced and included a $175,000 charity donation to the Look Good...Feel Better foundation, a sexy sum that was raised through warehouse sales, cut-a-thons and various other corporate activities.
