Claire Danes Dazzles

To complement the sexy one-shoulder Givenchy dress Claire Danes flaunted at the recent SAG Awards, celebrity stylist Peter Butler gave this A-lister a stylish low hanging ponytail.

In an effort to showcase her asymmetrical neckline, Butler pulled Danes' long locks back into a chic pony with a soft side part.

"If we try and make this Hollywood, it just won't work," said Butler to Danes.

The star stylist kept Danes' look fresh and cool yet elegant-with soft pieces cascading around her face.

"The dress is very sharp looking and I wanted to soften it by giving her a cool 'New York girl' style," said Butler.

Master the Look:

2: Blow the hair out with a medium round brush.

5: Gather the hair at the nape of the neck, leaving out some angles in the front, and secure it with a bungee elastic, joining the two hooks underneath the ponytail.

6: Pull out small pieces around the ears to keep the look ethereal and not too done.
