Building Health

Hail Health is blossoming in Bloomington, Indiana, thanks to a new YMCA Wellness Center (for women and men), a state-of-the-art achievement that expands the facilities and services offered by the original facility, which was spearheaded in the early ‘80s, by a very young and exuberant Tom Porter.

Yep. We’re talking about the Tom Porter, who went on to found Malibu Wellness, manufacturer of Malibu C, a brand that has revolutionized beauty care through its use of vitamin C and other wellness ingredients that rehabilitate and beautify hair and skin.

“Over the past three decades, the YMCA Wellness Center has pioneered cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs in conjunction with IU Bloomington Hospital and Cook, Inc. the largest privately held medical device company in the world,” Porter beams.

“I’m proud of Malibu C’s contribution of $10,000 to the new location, which will serve as an important hub for expanded rehab programs that extend the quality and quantity of patients’ lives, including those with stages III and IV breast cancers.”
