Replenishing Returns

Recently, the forested Ama’ulu road in Hilo, Hawaii, was bathed in a misting rain as a group of people devoted to macadamia nut cultivation and commerce met to offi cially seal a partnership between Macadamia Natural Oil and Oslon-Keolanui (OK) farms.

Integral to this newly formed bond: Macadamia Natural Oil CEO John Fasan and Dalia—his Japanese distributor—who worked together to plant 10 macadamia saplings to celebrate the partnership and underscore Macadamia Natural Oil’s core value to preserve the environment and its precious resources.

Hawaiian Gold

Hawaii has the largest number of commercial macadamia tree orchards in the world.

Not only has its economy benefi ted greatly from the sale of macadamia nut products, but also its future is assured.

How so? When cultivated properly, a macadamia tree will begin producing nuts within 7 to 10 years of planting and continue to bear fruit for over 100 years!
