When stylist and extensionist Michelle Lomuscio read the Pure Extensions Fall Inspiration Challenge posting on Facebook, one thought immediately leaped to mind: “Sign me up!”

According to Lomuscio, one additional rule applied: Use at least two of these three Pure Extensions lines—Radicals (fashion shades), Stripes (feather-like designs) and Ombre (you know the drill).
“I posted a “model wanted” notice on my Facebook page and one of my clients immediately applied. She was perfect for the retro-pinup look that I had in mind,” Lomuscio smiles. “Her hair was already blonde, so I added some blonde Stripes to give her existing color some pop, as well as orange Stripes and yellow Radical extensions to complement her gorgeous tattoos. She also had an existing black section in front, so I rolled it up into a plump curl and then created a victory roll on one side of the style to complete my neo-’40s pinup design.”
