Pantone Spring 2015
Soft and light with just a hint of bold color, Pantone's Spring 2015 palette promises to be a confection of soft, cool shades and warmer colors leaning toward neutral.

Use the Top 10 palette for overall hair colors, or give fashion shades an underpinning of depth, especially with Marsala-Pantone’s Color of the Year-which takes on a lighter personality for spring.

En Plein Air

Pantone’s Top 10 Colors for spring 2015 are mirroring our needs to slow down, relax and-at least for short periods of time-disconnect.

“This season there is a move toward the cooler and softer side of the color spectrum. An eclectic, ethereal mix of understated brights, pale pastels and naturelike neutrals take center stage as designers draw from daydreams of simpler times.

“There is also a growing movement to step out and create ‘quiet zones’ to disconnect from technology and unwind, giving ourselves time to stop and be still.

Color choices follow the same minimalistic, ‘en plein air’ theme, taking a cue from nature rather than being reinvented or mechanically manipulated.

Soft, cool hues blend with subtle, warm tones to create a soothing escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.” -
