1-2. Take an oval section from the bridge of the nose to the outer corner of the eyebrow. Divide it into three triangle sections and secure.
3-5. Clipper cut all unsecured hair, beginning with a #1 guard at the hairline and then changing to a #2 guard to seamlessly transition from shortest at the hairline to slightly longer at the oval parting.
6-7. Unpin the frontal triangle section. Take a thin, bottom parting and cut the hair at a 0° angle. Take a second parting and point-cut to the desired length. Drop the balance of the hair in this section and point-cut the ends in the same manner.
8. Release the top triangle section. Comb the hair as shown and point-cut the ends, using the triangle perimeter in Step 7 as your guide. Repeat this cutting technique on the final triangle section, using the same guide line.
9. Create slight movement and texture by taking horizontal partings and point-cutting (deep) the ends.
