Celebrated author, entrepreneur and media mogul Arianna Huffington has been named keynote speaker for the 2013 Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Business Forum, which will be held during PBA Beauty Week, July 13 - 16, 2013. The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will be the scene of the event.
Hosted by Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), PBA Beauty Week is an inclusive beauty event that offers networking, education and business-to-business opportunities to all sectors of the beauty industry.
On Sunday, July 14, 2013 Huffington will address forum attendees with From Politics to the Board Room: Fearless Leadership. This successful entrepreneur who has triumphed over naysayers, self-doubt and a turbulent economy, will demonstrate how difficult times can be turned into an opportunity for growth, both personally and professionally.
With real-world experience as co-founder and editor-in-chief of Huffington Post, the media mogul is an expert at showing professionals how to thrive in the face of adversity.
Huffington has led a distinguished career and continues to push the boundaries of politics and business. She has authored 13 books, been named twice to TIME magazine's TIME 100 list of the world's 100 most influential people (2006 and 2011), and contributes regularly to many renowned lifestyle and politically focused television programs nationwide. This shining star also serves on several boards that promote community solutions to social problems, including A Place Called Home, which works with at-risk children in South Central Los Angeles.
