TIGI’s motto, “By Hairdressers, For Hairdressers” was brought to life at the posh Gaylord Resort where sterling accommodations, a river walk and Alamo architecture set the stage for the TIGI World Release, a twoday event filled with nonstop socializing, entertainment and education.
With over 2,000 stylists, educators and owners in attendance, the event began with a bang and continued nonstop until the fi nal curtain fell.
Highlights of the event
Founder and International Artistic Director Anthony Mascolo, Global Creative Director Nick Irwin and a host of artistic team members presented top looks from 10 collections produced by TIGI over the past 10 years.
Gifted artists recreated the most memorable TIGI styles from the runways for 2013; and the uber-extravagant TIGI Icelandic photo shoot was simultaneously presented on screen and stage.
Classes based on TIGI’s four pillars of learning—color, styling, cutting, and business—were taught by Tabatha “take no prisoners” Coffey and a host of TIGI educators.
