Edgy Bob

Master stylist Sam Villa puts a mod twist on the traditional bob.

Gone are the triangular, bubble-shaped bobs of the '80s.

Today's chic bobs are soft and wispy with a narrow, edgy translucence.

Learn how to craft this wispy modern bob!

Show Us Your VIVIDS!

First-place winner Amanda Stone wows Brig Van Osten and Pravana with her colorful command of VIVIDS.

First-place winner Amanda Stone, who plies her craft at the Luma Salon in Altamonte, Florida, is on a beauty roll.

Following her international win at Sebastian's "What's Next Awards" in Berlin, Stone managed to ice her proverbial cake by placing first in Pravana's "Show Us Your VIVIDS" contest.

HOT's opinion: Pravana knows how to pick a winner...

Graphic Couture

Inspired by architect Frank Gehry's Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, Spain, the Smiths create a collection of geometric shapes, sticks and curls.

Using everything from green screen to cardboard blocks and toilet paper cores, Matrix Artistic Directors Brian and Sandra Smith bring their shapely beauty masterpiece to life.

Big Bang Theory

Clip-in bangs make it simple for clients to flaunt the latest fringe and bang trend.

In reality, what happens when these sexy sweepers go out of style?...

Welcome to Wonderland

When it comes to the rules of engagement, Chicago-based RED 7 SALON didn't get the memo.

Talking to RED 7 SALON Co-owner Jason Hall is like tumbling through Alice's looking glass.

"In addition to having previous careers in Web design, advertising and public relations-which are obviously beneficial to our company-I have a theater background," smiles Hall...
