Ashley Madekwe Dons Casual Red Carpet Look

Season two of the hit series "Revenge" recently came to a wrap, so a festive bash was held in order to celebrate the season. The event, which was sponsored by Joico, was attended by the entire cast.

Held at West Hollywood's Pink Taco, the lively fete lured lots of luminaries such as Emily Van Camp, Gabriel Mann, Christa B. Allen and Connor Paolo, as well as iconic fitness guru Richard Simmons who crashed the party. They sipped Svedka drinks, entertained themselves in a fun photo booth, and got the glam 411 at a beauty bar provided by Joico.

Prior to the party, series star Ashley Madekwe called on Joico International Celebrity Spokesperson George Papanikolas to create her flirty Red Carpet hairstyle. Already well acquainted with Papanikolas, Ashley was the recent face of a "Drab to Fab" webisode.

The casual look Papanikolas created featured loose waves and lots of shine. He says that the secret to the style was the Joico Smooth Cure collection-Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Rescue Treatment and Thermal Styling Protectant.

To get Ashley's style, Papanikolas applied the Smooth Cure Leave-In Rescue Treatment to her clean, damp hair and dried and smoothed her strands with a large round brush and blow dryer.

He then created a center part and divided her locks into large, vertical sections. He misted each section with Smooth Cure Thermal Styling Protectant, and wrapped the hair around a one-inch iron, beginning at brow level on each strand and omitting the ends for an easy, casual wave effect.

Once the hair cooled, this topnotch talent gently blended each section with an oval styling brush and finished with Joico Power Spray Fast-Dry Finishing Spray for long-lasting, flexible hold.
