Multicultural haircare collection, Design Essentials kicked off its first "Big Easy" celebrity weekend, which was held in New Orleans on July 4th weekend. The A-list included Omari Hardwick, Lance Gross, and Nicole Murphy to namedrop a few.
The "Big Easy" Celebrity Style Lounge was hosted by Grammy nominated R&B singer Ledisi, who uses Design Essentials to perfect and polish her locks.
At the lounge, which debuted at the W French Quarter, the singer mingled with the media and superfans as she posed for photos, discussed her new album The Truth and shared how her favorite Design Essentials products such as Sleek Edge Control and Twist & Set Setting Lotion help her maintain her sultry locks.
Sharing the inspiration behind her album that chronicles the highs and lows of love, Ledisi dished on everything from her sexy new makeover to her successful move to Los Angeles to her New Orleans upbringing.
