Cosmetologists Chicago, which produces America's Beauty Show, rolled out its 91st annual beauty industry event, which was held March 22-24, 2014 at McCormick Place in Chicago. More than 55,000 professionals gathered for the latest in education and entertainment.

The Highlights: The 3rd Annual BeautyBASH: A show exclusive, the BeautyBASH was pure party. Industry professionals got in the spirit with music, dancing and lots of beauty-buzzing.

The Runway @ America's Beauty Show: Fashion trends galore! Guests witnessed the talents of industry icons such as Tracey Hughes and Joey Scandizzo for Wella; Sebastian's Omar Antonio and Marylle Koken; Aloxxi's Leonardo Rocco and Teri Dougherty; TIGI's Nick Irwin; Redken's Sam Villa; Mark Hayes and the Sassoon Creative Team; Martin Parsons; and Kimberly Kimble.

The 2nd Annual All-Star Trends Panel: Moderated by Wella VP of Education Fabio Sementilli, the trends panel provided insight into tomorrow's beauty biz, along with career advice. Each segment was videotaped for future online posting. Several hundred pros learned what's happening from savvy beauty leaders such as Jan Arnold, CND; Nick Irwin, TIGI; Mark Hayes, Sassoon Academy; John Simpson, Goldwell; Gerard Scarpaci and Randy Taylor, hairbrained.me; and Kelly Ehlers, Evoke Brands.

Education for All Beauty Professionals: More than 70 Continuing Education and 108 manufacturer-sponsored classes were held. Among them were Master Classes from The Runway stars including, Tracey Hughes and Martin Parsons; hair cutting, color and styling classes with Candy Shaw, Eli Mancha, Pivot Point, Chrystofer Benson, Jo Blackwell-Preston and Tom Dispenza. Tip-to-Toes nail education was presented by Adam Tran, the CND Education Team, Amber Edwards and Dr. Katharine Von Gavel. Professionals also enjoyed makeup and esthetics information from Jill Glaser, Shelley Russo and Lisa Ryan.

Shopping and Fashion Inspiration in the America's Beauty Show Exhibit Hall: The Exhibit Hall spotlighted 450+ manufacturers and distributors including: Wella Professionals, Sebastian Professional, Nioxin, Clairol, Redken/Pureology, Matrix, TIGI, CND, Gellish, Young Nails, Moroccanoil, and Avlon. Major distributors including SalonCentric, CosmoProf, Premier and Quality Beauty Supply hosted an abundance of brands.

AACS Presents "Beauty Changes Lives" at America's Beauty Show Student Assembly: Some 2,000 cosmetology students gathered by the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) to share their personal journeys. Each noted how beauty truly changed their lives, fulfilled their dreams, and contributed to their success! Awards were also announced including ABS Rising STARS Awards, and Pivot Point International, which announced the 2014 recipients of its L.E.O. Awards.

Cosmetologists Chicago STARS Photo Contest: The winners of this photo contest for professionals, students and nail technicians was revealed. Winners scored cash prizes and media recognition.

The New America's Beauty Show Mobile App: Mobile App was available for the first time via Google Play and the The App Store. The integration between the America's Beauty Show app and the show's registration system enabled attendees to enter the app's system with their confirmation number and see all the events they had registered for, along with a schedule, social networking and exhibitors listing.
