1. Before.
2-3. Comb the hair down and part in client's preferred area.
4. Determine the length of the fringe.
5. Take vertical section in the center of the occipital area and cut to the desired length. This will be the guideline.
6-8. Point cut the entire occipital area taking vertical sections with reference to the guideline.
9-10. Continue point cutting lateral areas.
11-13. Determine the perimeter length of hair and create an oval.
14-16. Blow dry with a diffuser creating a free shape.
17-18. Cut fringe hair with thinning shears in same manner as making classic highlights.
