Cut hair along lateral hairline holding strands at a sharp angle towards to the face. Make vertical partings. 4. Cut the hair of low occipital area holding it at a 45 degree angle while making vertical partings. 5. Do the same in middle occipital area, going to a 60 degree angle. 6-7. Cut the hair of lateral areas along the vertical partings while holding hair at a sharp angle. Work hair with thinning shears. 8-9. Cut the hair of parietal area along the horizontal partings in a free hand technique. Slice the fringe. Blow dry the hair with a diffuser while using a flat brush.
