1. Start by sectioning the hair off from ear to ear with a central parting as shown. Section off a horizontal section above the ear.
2-3. Start cutting the baseline using the scissors below the comb. Cut all following sections in parallel to the first using it as a guideline. Slightly elevate the sec-tions when moving through each section as this will create a graduated line. When reaching the middle parting. Repeat the entire technique on the oppo-site side of the head. Once this part of the haircut is complete, check the overall balance. Move over to the opposite side and repeat the technique.
4-6. Moving on to the back section we use our previous section as a guideline start-ing behind the ear and working around the back of the head we take diagonal sections only slightly elevating each section. Once you have reached the cen-tre back repeat the technique on the opposite side of the head with a starting point just behind the ear.
7-9. Once completed crosscheck the back section for even balance. Once the entire perimeter shape has been cut and crosschecked for balance, blow dry the hair straight using the paddle brush from the Salon Tool Collection taking care to avoid volume and root lift. Once the hair is dry use the ceramic iron classic M from the Salon Tool Collection to achieve a sleek straight look, Finally, gently section away the side panels of the hair to start cutting in the fringe. Work slowly and with care.

10-11. Firstly define the positioning of the sections which will be colored with Igora Royal 5-86 (mixed in equal parts with 6% developer). As shown in the pictures, 2 squares are sectioned off from above the ears, from the front temple back to the ear and down. A further section is placed at the front of the head shape in a triangular shape which takes in the fringe area. Leave out a fine section which later form a veil over the fringe.
12-15. The hair that is left we apply color 1 in a classic tint application roots to ends. The remaining hair is tinted with Igora Royal 1-0 together with equal parts of 3% developer using a standard root to ends tint application. Use foil to protect the two colors from merging together.
16-20. Now we proceed with the 2nd color application. Once again applying the tint to the roots through to the ends. Leave both colors to develop according to manufacturer's shade guide instructions. Shampoo and condition the hair using BC Bonacure Color Save Shampoo and BC Bonacure Color.
